Domestic Violence

I had an argument with my girlfriend and pushed her out of my house. She had some visible injuries which she claimed were because of me. She called the police to my home because I locked her out. Numerous police came to my house and set up a perimeter and tried to get me to come outside. This standoff went on for hours. Eventually I came out of my house and I was tackled by a K-9 unit and arrested. An amount of a controlled substance enough for sales was also found in my girlfriend’s purse which police claimed I had planted there. I was charged with Domestic Violence with Corporal Injury (Penal Code Section 273.5(a) and Resist and Obstruct Officer (Penal Code Section 148(a) (1). I was facing up to 2 years in jail for those offenses. Also, the police resources used during the standoff were enormous which complicated the issue. I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me. I had an argument with a person I was dating. A security man claimed that I beat on the person with my fists’ multiple times. I was involved in a domestic altercation with two members of my family that incidentally got mildly physical. One of my family members made up that I had done something to her. I was charged with Penal Code Section 243(e)(1) [Domestic Violence] for an incident involving a boyfriend [Maximum Jail 1 year]. He claimed that I struck him on three different occasions. My spouse and I had an argument and then suddenly my spouse became physical. In an effort to defend myself I accidentally struck my spouse in the eye causing significant swelling. A few days later we went to the hospital because my spouse was complaining about pain from the injured eye. When Hospital personnel heard how the injury occurred they called police. When the police arrived we both explained the accidental nature of the injury. I was charged with Penal Code Section 243(e)(1), Domestic Violence and Penal Code Section 594(a)/(b)(2)(A) Vandalism as a result of an altercation with my spouse which caused me to act in self-defense and caused some minor damage to my house. I was charged with Domestic Violence under Penal Code Section 243(e) (1) for an altercation I got into with my girlfriend when we were both intoxicated. My wife and I got into an argument at home one night. She threw some things at me, tried to attack me and I pushed her in self-defense causing her to fall. The next day she sought medical attention for her injuries and told the Doctor what had happen. I was arrested for Domestic Violence (Penal Code Section 273.5) soon after and bail was set. I was very upset by all this because I did not feel I had done anything wrong and in addition to all that my wife was very intoxicated and out of control on that evening. I was arrested for Domestic Violence (Penal Code Section 273.5) and required to post $50,000.00 bail. I got into a physical altercation with my spouse of many years. In the altercation my spouse sustained a small injury to the face. My spouse called the police who came to the house and interviewed us and took pictures of the injury. I was charged with Battery on a Cohabitant under Penal Code Section 243(e) (1) [Domestic Violence] and violating a protective order under Penal Code Section 166(c) (1). My wife and I had an argument one night that got heated. She ended up leaving the house. My wife was intoxicated that night and was literally falling down from being drunk. I was arrested and charged with Penal Code Section 243(e) (1) [Domestic Violence, Battery on a co-habitant]; this offense carries a maximum of 1 year in jail.
