I was charged and arrested for Penal Code Section 243(e) (1) [Domestic Violence] and Penal Code Section 273a (b) [Child Abuse/Endangerment, Cruelty to a Child] for what was essentially a verbal dispute between myself and my spouse and one of my children. I thought the case should be dismissed but my first lawyer could not get it done. I hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent me. Mr. Bruzzo negotiated with the District Attorney and when they refused to dismiss he set the matter for trial. On the first day of trial the case was DISMISSED. I was very relieved. But, then I had to contend with a Penal Code Section 243(e) (1) [Domestic Violence] and Penal Code Section 273a (b) [Child Abuse/Endangerment, Cruelty to a Child] arrest on my record. I needed to get this arrest removed. Once again I turned to Mr. Bruzzo who had significant success and experience with Petitions to Seal and Destroy Arrest Records under Penal Code Section 851.8 [Also, 851.91]. Despite my spouse and child making statements incriminating to me, Mr. Bruzzo got the arrest record and all accusatory court pleadings, including the police report, SEALED and DESTROYED (Penal Code Section 851.8) over the objection of the District Attorney. I am very happy with this result because it cleans my record as much as can possibly be done. As such, I would recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any Penal Code Section 243(e) (1) [Domestic Violence] and Penal Code Section 273a (b) [Child Abuse/Endangerment, Cruelty to a Child] case and for any Seal and Destroy Arrest Record under Penal Code Section 851.8.
