Unlawfully Causing Fire to an Inhabited Structure / Property of Another

My adult son was charged with Unlawfully Causing Fire to an Inhabited Structure (Penal Code Section 452(b)) and Unlawfully causing Fire to Property of Another (Penal Code Section 452(d)) when he used illegal fireworks which accidentally caused our neighbor’s home to suffer minor fire damage. My son was facing up to 1 year in jail for this offense. We hired Attorney Will Bruzzo to represent him because of Mr. Bruzzo’s outstanding results in other cases and his familiarity with the courts and District Attorney in Orange County. Mr. Bruzzo told me it was important to get a letter from the effected neighbor indicating that the damage had been taken care of and that they did not want to pursue charges. I obtained this letter and Mr. Bruzzo attended court by himself. After just a few appearances Mr. Bruzzo managed to get the case DISMISSED without my son pleading guilty, paying a fine or having a conviction. I am very pleased with this result and I would therefore enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any criminal or Unlawfully causing a fire case. Date:1/25/13
