I was involved in a domestic altercation with two members of my family that incidentally got mildly physical. One of my family members made up that I had done something to her. Despite little physical evidence I was charged with Penal Code Section 245(a) (4) [Assault with Force Likely to Produce Great Bodily Injury], Penal Code Section 273a (a), [Child Abuse] and Penal Code Section 273.5 [Domestic Violence]. I was looking at up to a year in custody for these offenses.
In addition, I was subjected to a Protective Order which prevented me from seeing my family or even going to my home for the duration of the case.
This was all very upsetting for me. A friend helped me research lawyers and we met with and hired Will Bruzzo. Mr. Bruzzo gave us a plan on how to deal with the allegations which he had successfully used in previous cases. He had his private investigator take statements from my family members and then took those statements to the District Attorney.
Based on those statements the District Attorney DISMISSED ALL THE CHARGES and TERMINATED the Protective order.
I am very happy with this result and I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Bruzzo for any case involving Penal Code Section 245(a)(4) [Assault with Force Likely to Produce Great Bodily Injury], Penal Code Section 273a(a), [Child Abuse] or Penal Code Section 273.5 [Domestic Violence]. Date: 11-27-18
